Product Description
Made in Japan
Operating principle: Model gun, real size cartridges & realistic functions of real gun (field takedown, cocking, etc.) Cannot be fired.
Availability: In stock, used, excellent/near new condition. New models are no longer manufactured.
Stemming from German experiences in World War I development of new ammunition was commenced. It was not until 1941 when an intermediate 7.92 Infantrie Kurzpatrone rifle ammunition was finally accepted for service. At the same time order for weapon using the same cartridge was placed.
By 1942 troop trials were held with 7.92mm Maschinenkarbiner 42(H). The weapon receiver was shaped from single heavy-gauge steel stamping. The hand guard and magazine was machined the same way. Overall weight was considerable at 5kgs, but this helped to suppress the weapons recoil. The MKb 42(H) proved to work well in tough conditions and gained over many fans from ranks of infantry officers. MKb 42(H) was given it's combat debut in Eastern Front and would be soon thrown into full production altought too late to stem the tidal wave of Red Army.
Full metal and wood construction. Disassembles and operates like real. Discontinued model, only few remain in stock.
Technical specifications:
Lenght: 935mm
Weight: 4,000g
Ammunition capacity: 30
